Hotspot — Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Hotspot mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Ace Limited LLC, a Florida limited liability company at 6831 Eastview Dr, Lake Worth, FL 33462 ("Company", "we", "us").
1. What Hotspot is — and is not
1.1 Hotspot is an information service for professional drivers. It combines public and licensed data — venue foot-traffic forecasts, published flight schedules and airport boards, event listings, rail timetables, and your own logged pickups — into estimates of where and when passenger demand is likely in a region, and suggested plans for a shift.
1.2 Hotspot does not connect you with any passenger. It has no passengers, no bookings, no ride requests, no matching, and no dispatch. It does not communicate with any rideshare, taxi, or delivery platform on your behalf. It never tells you that a particular ride exists — only that, based on the data, demand is likely at a place and time.
1.3 Estimates are estimates. Rider counts, "premium" shares, arrival passenger numbers, event end times, and plan suggestions are produced by models from third-party data of varying quality. Some inputs are measured (an airline's confirmed arrival time), some are modelled (how many people on a train take a car), and some are typical values (how long a concert lasts). The app labels the difference where it can. Nothing in Hotspot is a guarantee of work, earnings, or the presence of any passenger. You decide where to drive.
1.4 Hotspot is not a navigation product. "Navigate" hands a destination to a map app of your choice. Follow the road, the law, and your own judgement — not the app. Do not operate the app while driving. 1.5 Service area: South Florida only. Hotspot is offered for, and its data covers, South Florida - from Stuart to Homestead (Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties). Outside that area the Service has little or no data; anything it shows there may be incomplete or wrong, and the subscription is not sold for use there. The app tells you when your location is outside the service area. If we add areas we will say so in the app.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and lawfully able to drive for hire where you use the Service. You are responsible for your credentials and account activity. One account per person.
3. Subscription and fees
3.1 Hotspot is offered on a monthly subscription (with any free trial or free tier shown in the app). Current prices are shown in the app.
3.2 Billing is handled outside the app by payment link or invoice; we do not sell subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
3.3 Cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid month. No partial-month refunds. We may change prices with 30 days' notice, effective from your next renewal.
3.4 Fair use: the Service is licensed for one driver's personal working use. Automated access, scraping, sharing an account, or extracting the data for any other purpose is prohibited.
4. Your data and your notes
4.1 With your permission the app uses your device location to centre searches, plans and the arrivals list, and to attach where you were to a field note you write. It does not track you and does not use location in the background. See the Privacy Policy.
4.2 You may import your own trip history from other platforms to improve the estimates you see. That data remains yours; we use it to calibrate the Service for you and, in aggregated and de-identified form, to improve the models.
4.3 Field notes you write are yours; we may reply to them within the app.
5. Third-party data
The Service includes data from third parties under licence (for example venue foot-traffic data, flight schedule data, event listings, map tiles from OpenStreetMap contributors). That data is provided for display within the Service only. You may not extract, copy, redistribute, or resell it. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, or withdrawn without notice; where a feed is unavailable the app says so rather than showing nothing.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to break any law or any other platform's terms; to harass, stalk, or locate any individual; to interfere with the Service; or in any manner that creates a safety risk. We may suspend or terminate an account that does.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, models, grades, and design are owned by the Company or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app under these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY ESTIMATE, FORECAST, SCHEDULE, OR PLAN. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ANY RIDE, FARE, OR INCOME.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST FARES, FUEL, TOLLS, TIME, VEHICLE WEAR, TRAFFIC OR PARKING PENALTIES, OR ACCIDENTS, ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify the Company against claims arising from your use of the Service, your driving, or your breach of these Terms or any law.
11. Dispute resolution
Governing law: State of Florida, USA. Courts. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Informal resolution first by writing to support@megobe.com.
12. Changes and termination
We may change these Terms; material changes will be shown in the app with a version date and require acceptance. We may change or discontinue features. You may stop using the Service at any time; sections 1, 4–5, and 7–11 survive termination.
13. General
Entire agreement; severability; no waiver; no assignment by you. Notices to the Company: support@megobe.com, 6831 Eastview Dr, Lake Worth, FL 33462.
